Exploring Flat Design

Today we are going to study the trendy flat design. Throughout the years we’ve seen some trends in design come and go. Like any kind of art, web-design created its own history. At some point web designers were trying to impress us with all kinds of skills by filling sites with illustrations and animations. Everything was shiny, flashy and… heavy.  After that, came skeumorphism which was all about realism. Shadows, textures and basically everything so close to real things, it was almost scary.
